Pro-rector in charge of education and teaching (Dean)

The
recruited person will be in charge of helping and supporting the Rector in the
management of PFU. Consequently, as a member of the executive board, he/she will
take a broad range of responsibilities from long term strategic development of
the University to day to day management decisions. This pro-rector will be
specifically in charge with the educational policy of PFU. This responsibility
includes:

· 
design, manage
and support a strategic vision of PFU educational policy

· 
design and
propose curricula in relation with the consortium

· 
manage teaching
equipments and areas

· 
organize
teaching and evaluation (timetables, exams, juries...)

· 
design and
implement the quality evaluation policy for teaching, including accreditation
procedures if needed

· 
define and
implement the policy for the recruitment of students

· 
conduct surveys
on the professional career of former students and on industrial expectations

The
applicant will preferably have a PhD in an engineering discipline, have a
significant and successful experience in management or leadership in industry or
academics and possess a good level
in English. Preference will be given to candidates with a good network of
relations with the French or European academic environment; experience with
French or European accreditation processes will be appreciated. The applicant
will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be involved in national
and international professional organizations and appreciate the broad mission of
a French university in Pakistan.
