Emergency number

The French embassy in Islamabad can be reached outside of the opening hours only in the event of an immediate emergency: [92] (51) 201 14 22.

This telephone number is intended primarily for reporting emergency situations concerning French nationals outside of the opening hours of the consular service.

It is not intended to handle questions relating to visa applications.

Emergency cases:
• Aggression, domestic violence, attacks
• Serious accidents, death abroad
• Arrest, incarceration abroad
• Alarming disappearances
• Theft or loss of passport necessary for imminent travel planned before the embassy/consulate reopening date

What is NOT an emergency (these situations will be handled during normal opening hours):
• Question on visas for France
• Information on formalities at the embassy/consulate
• Request for an appointment: see the dedicated sections on the website
• Theft or loss of passport or identity card without imminent travel plans
