French Ambassador lays a wreath at the PPP office in Islamabad

A delegation from the French Embassy, led by the French Ambassador to Pakistan, Mr Régis de Belenet, and including the Deputy Head of Mission, Mr Philippe Casenave, and the Press Counsellor, Mr Adrien Arbouche, expressed deepest condolences to Benazir Bhutto’s family and to the people of Pakistan upon her death and other victims of thursday’s terrorist attack in Rawalpindi.
The delegation visited the PPP office in Islamabad on Friday afternoon to lay a wreath in memory of late Benazir Bhutto.
The French envoy said on this occasion that the French Authorities had already expressed their condolences upon the death of this great figure of Pakistani political life. They reaffirmed their attachment to the stability and democracy in Pakistan./.
