Seminar on French Textile Machinery in Karachi and Lahore
The French Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association (UCMTF) has organised two seminars on November 28th and 30th respectively in Karachi and Lahore to help Pakistani textile industry take up the challenges of globalisation in domestic as well as the foreign markets.
These two seminars have been organised in collaboration with UBIFRANCE, Agency for the promotion of French Companies Abroad, and the Economic Department of the Embassy of France in Pakistan, under the patronage of All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) and sponsored by HABIB BANK. This event benefits too from the support of PFBA, Pakistan France Business Alliance.
The French textile machinery manufacturers, the 5th world exporters, with annual exports of USD one billion, want to become true partners of Pakistani textile companies and go beyond just offering their equipment, service maintenance, output optimisation and modernisation existing equipment.
The three workshops which have been planned related to: new technologies for cotton wastes, recycling and re-spinning, responses to the qualitative evolution of the tufted and woven carpet markets, fibres to finished goods for hygiene, wipes, medical products, coating substrates and geotextiles.
