Paris Climate Conference - Negotiation sessions in Bonn - Statement by M. Laurent Fabius, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development, President of the Paris Climate Conference (Paris, 23/10/2015)
The climate negotiations session in Bonn ended with the publication of a new draft text, longer but more balanced, which puts various options on the table.
Under these circumstances, France will organize a broad, informal ministerial consultation, the pre-COP, from 8 to 10 November, to press forward now that little time is left. It will then be up to us to conclude the negotiation in Paris. As President of COP21, I will be listening to all countries in a spirit of transparency and dialogue, with the firm intention of coming up with the essential ambitious agreement./.
