- 1986: Joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

- 1988-1990: First Secretary at the French embassy in Saudi Arabia

- 1990-1993: First Secretary at the French Embassy in Tunisia

- 1993-1998: Second Counsellor at the French Embassy in Kuwait

- 1998-2004: Deputy Director Middle East (North Africa and Middle East Directorate)

- 2004-2008: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Oman

- 2008-2011: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Malaysia

- 2011-2014: Joint Director North Africa and Middle East Directorate
